Matrimony

We congratulate you on your Engagement!

We at Holy Family are privileged to assist you in the preparation of your Marriage

In Matthew 19:4-6, Jesus tells us, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, for this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore, what God has joined together, let man not separate”.

This bond is permanent, faithful and open to new human life. Matrimony is to faithfully love one another as Christ loves the Church. A man and woman who wish to be wed should prepare themselves to receive the Sacrament through prayer and leading a Christian life. Couples seeking the Sacrament of Marriage should contact the Parish Office to set up a meeting with the Pastor at least 6-9 months in advance of the Wedding date.

You will need the following:

  • A recent copy of your Baptism certificate
  • Copies of First Communion and Confirmation certificate.
  • A completed Pre-Nuptial questionnaire (obtained at the Parish Office or view HERE)
  • A completed Wedding Rules questionnaire (obtained at the Parish Office or view HERE)

To reserve your Wedding date, please contact us for more detailed information and to make an appointment with the Pastor.

Marriage Guidelines can be obtained at the Parish Office or view HERE.
