Catholics in Action

Jesus Said: “For I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me; naked and you clothed me; sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me.” – Matthew 25: 35-36

Help Us to Help
Non-Profit Organization Sponsored by Holy Family Church

What is Catholics In Action?
We are a group of Catholic families, united with the sole conviction of providing material and spiritual aid to our brothers going through necessity.

What is the Mission of Catholics In Action?
With the motto of Charity, Faith, Brotherhood and inspired by the example we inherited from our Lord Jesus Christ, this group of volunteers has understood that our mission in society is to offer help to our brothers in need without looking at race, color, sex or religion.

Where does the Group provide aid and assistance?
Since 1995, CEA provides aid and assistance where the need arises. In our organization, we support locally and internationally, including cases of natural disasters, currently it provides help to the needs of our community and communities in different rural areas in Baja California Mexico, and our brothers farmworkers in Bakersfield, California and its surrounding ranches.

How does the group finance its expenses?
Our Group is a non-profit organization, and all financial funds we need to perform our various activities are generated within our own group, generous donations of the community and also sales of food, plants, yard sales and raffles.

Help us to help, and join this chain of love.
All this is possible thanks to the great generosity of our Parish Community and the support of our Pastor.
